It was reported that 3.1kms roadbed maintenance of highway for Xiangling village, Lingxiuyaozu town, Rucheng county has been finished. That was the second rural highway project in the town’s “100 well-being”projects list. That was also the project carried out after bidding. It was learned that 7.745 million yuan would be collected in Rucheng county to handle the village roads construction to improve the traffic condition of some remote areas.

According to the plan, 4 village road projects and one county-level highway project should be launched in 2013 in Rucheng county. They are: 1.06 km long highway from Sigongtian Puzhu village to Laoleidong with 0.48 million yuan investment (it has been finished yet); 7 kms long highway of Xiangling village with estimated investment of more than 5 million yuan; 1.36kms long highway of Changdong village with estimated investment of about 0.77 million yuan; and Yingling highway which is still on the process of bidding.

In order to optimize the projects’ construction condition and promote the improvement of projects, a special leadership group led by the chief of the county was established to coordinate relative construction issues. At the meantime, a supervision team was established to inspect and check the projects to make sure everything goes well on the construction process.
