Some projects were listed as the first one in technology system

It was learned from Zixing city that one of national level science and technology projects benefited to people named “application demonstration of the health support technology for the residents in heavy pollution area” was improved well there. All the relative units carried out the work on the basis of working plan accordingly.

Zixing city was listed as one of the first batch of 23 counties (cities, districts) of undertaking science and technology projects benefited to people in last September. The project undertaken by Zixing city was for the application and demonstration of the health support technology for the residents in heavy pollution area. The total amount of this project was about 25.12 million yuan, 19.12 million of which was issued by the State, while rest should be collected by Chenzhou Disease Control and Prevention Center, Chenzhou Environmental Monitor Center, Chenzhou First Hospital, Central South University, Hunan Prophylactico-therapeutic Hospital of Occupational Disease, and Changsha Huashijie Co., Ltd..

According to the plan, the project would be carried out in three years with three divisions. One was for the science and technology improvement placed on non-ferrous industry to upgrade the environmental protection condition of the enterprises. The other two focused on the disease control and prevention departments and hospitals to upgrade the service grade of the staffs and to upgrade the living condition and health support of the people accordingly. It was introduced that three smelt enterprises have placed more than 30 million yuan on the application of some advanced technologies with the help of the universities and institutes. New measures and working system were figured out by Zixing Disease Control and Prevention Center to carry out the service to upgrade people’s living condition and health support.

It was introduced some advanced achievements were applied to carry out this project, such as two advanced results for science and technology benefited to people, one national environmental protection standard, one national key environmental protection practical technology, two national occupational health standards, three national health industry standards and one technical and practical results, etc..
