It was reported that Rucheng county actively carried out the preliminary work on the establishment of national scenic spot of Reshui Tanghe. A leading group of the establishment work was formed accordingly. Specified establishment plan was issued to relative departments. Furthermore, a coordinate conference was held to set the clear working target, step and responsibility mechanism.

Reshui Tanghe scenic spot locates in the junction area of Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi province, covering 108 square meters planning areas and 240 square meters control areas. It was listed as Hunan provincial scenic spot in December, 2012. It was introduced that there were abundant tourism resources available in the scenic spot, such as hot spring, Feishuizhai south Tianshan prarie, bamboo, water reservoir, folk customs of She minority, Yellowstone glacier site, etc. Some of them are still under development. According to the data, more than 0.2 million tourists visited the scenic spot in 2012. Its annual comprehensive tourism revenue hit 100 million yuan, 20 million of which was the income of scenic spot.

In 2013, followed with development idea to establish“hot spring city of China”, Rucheng county collected 520 million yuan to upgrade the condition of hot springs, and explore more tourism resources there. It was purposely to establish the national scenic spot with all the efforts. Now the establishment work was handled out well accordingly in Rucheng county.
