It was reported that an expert group formed by Hunan Provincial Red Tourism Office visited the Tangs house of Guidong county on December 10-11, 2013. The Tangs house was former site where Mao Zedong welcomed the Red Army brigade. It was purposely to check its work on establishment of Hunan provincial red tourism spot by the experts. The group checked the spot on-site, read some relative data and listened to the working reports concerned for the spot on their investigation trip. All experts highly affirmed Guidong county’s tourism development strategy by improving red culture and green environment and its measures on creating the tourism brand of “healthy heaven, summer resort”. The experts were satisfied with the work on establishment of Hunan provincial red tourism spot, such as working measures, infrastructure construction, tourism facilities construction, etc., and approved its establishment.

It was introduced that Guidong county launched this establishment work in this May. Followed with the specified requirements listed in relative files, Guidong county set high standard scenic spot sign outside the scenic spot and facilitated guide maps, tourism instruction, public information boards, safety warning signs, entrance and exit signs, regulation board, and etc. in the spot and perfected its sanitary system, supervision system and service system as well. It was learned that the Tangs house was the exclusive one from Chenzhou city listed in second batch of establishment of Hunan provincial red tourism demonstration scenic spot.
