Fast

Just forty minutes and one hour, reporters finished the 151kms expressway trip.

In earlier days, from Yanling to Rucheng, it would take about 3 hours, but now just forty minutes and one hour is ok. Without expressway, the distance from Rucheng county to Guidong county of Chenzhou city is 80kms and 2 hours drive, but not just 38kms that can finish in one hour.

Precipitous

Looking down from above place, Yanru express looks like a white silk inlayed on the mountains.

The peculiar experience of the reporters for their Yanru expressway driving trip was the linkage between bridges and tunnels.

Mishui bridge which is the highest bridge of Yanru expressway is with the highest pier of 143 meters. It is dizzy when reporters looked downward from the bridge.

Due to the precipitous condition of Yanru expressway, both construction and safety management are difficult for it. The regular white marked lines and striking transportation labels were set along the way. According to different road condition, some colorful slippery road surface, vertical deceleration strip, vibration marked lines for rainy night and LED display for weather report, transportation condition report, alarm, etc. were set there as well.

The most prominent feature of Yanru expressway is still “green”.

Yanling, Rucheng and Guidong county are famous for their unique green views. Driving on the expressway, green belts on both sides of the roadand green quarantine barriers in the middle of the road are always with you, which match surrounding green mountainous view well and make drivers feel very comfortable to enjoy the trip.
