It was learned that both Changsha city and Chenzhou city’s experimental implementation solutions for construction of water ecological civilization city were past the approval. 

Recently, entrusted by the Ministry of Water Resources, Yangtze River Water Resources Committee organized a review trip to check Chenzhou city’s experimental implementation solution for construction of water ecological civilization city. After on-site investigation on Chenzhou Dongjiangwan, Wangxian lake, Ailian lake, Suxian lake and some other water ecological civilization construction projects, all the experts considered that Chenzhou is the source of Xiangjiang river, Beijiang river and Ganjiang river, so it was typical and demonstrative for the water ecological civilization construction in south China’s hilly areas if handled the pilot construction in Chenzhou city. They also approved Chenzhou city’s experimental implementation solution for it met the demands listed in “the notice of further promotion of water ecological civilization city construction work”. They considered the solution was workable to guide the construction work.

From April, 2012, major leaders of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou government led some investigations on the water construction work. At the mean time, Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee delivered an investigation report entitled “well play the advantages of water to handle water construction work and forge a livable city”, which helped to grant the Chenzhou city’s construction of water ecological civilization with new concepts.
