It was reported that Summit Forum for Amorphous Graphite Industry Development was held in Chenzhou city on April 26, 2014. It was sponsored by Graphite Specialized Committee of China Nonmetal Industry Association and undertaken by Southern Graphite Co., Ltd.

Graphite is one of the global high quality strategic resources. Amorphous graphite industry is one of the strategic emerging industries with the state’s support. Chenzhou city where is famous as the “town of amorphous graphite”covers 70% proven reserves of amorphous graphite of the world. It is the amorphous graphite production base with the largest scale, best quality and most famous fame of the world.

Followed with the guiding ideology of intensive usage of resource and working idea that concentrated mining right for strategic investor and concentrated resource allocation for deep-processing, Chenzhou city played amorphous graphite development as a key grip for promotion of industrial upgrading and transformation. Along with the strategic cooperation with CNBM, efficient regulation and integration for over 200 graphite mining enterprises was handled out in Chenzhou city, which greatly helped to upgrade Chenzhou graphite industry’s quality and competitive capacity with a deep-processing industrial base.

200 representatives from over 80 professional institutions, non-government and government organizations attended the Summit Forum for Amorphous Graphite Industry Development, showed their research achievements and shared their ideas on further study of the graphite industry with each other. They also discussed the integration handled out by Southern Graphite Co., Ltd. for Chenzhou Graphite Mining and some researching results and confirmed the periodical development goals and long-term development direction of graphite industry.

Some signing ceremonies concerned for “establishment of industry alliance of amorphous graphite”, “joint research and development between enterprises and college”, “marketing cooperation among Southern Graphite Co., Ltd. and some other enterprises”, and etc. were held on the forum.

Li Ping- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and First Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City, Zhang Aiguo- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City, Xiang Qi- Secretary of the State Specialized Committee of Graphite and some other leaders and experts attended the forum.
