Visitors were attracted to Chenzhou pavilion to enjoy the amazing mineral crystals

It was reported that the second China (Changsha) International Mineral Expo was held in Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center recently. Over 230 mineral crystals from Chenzhou city attracted visitors’ eyes.

Focusing with the theme of “boutique mine”, over 2000 international standard stands were set in this 65,000-cubic-meter center. This exhibition would last for six days till May 20, 2014. Some other activities as summit forum, jewelry industry and culture forum, fossil forum, museum forum and etc. would be held during this exhibition as well.

In order to show Chenzhou city’s unique feature of “green”, Chenzhou pavilion was decorated with green trees and blue sky elements. Compared with last expo, Chenzhou pavilion was with bigger size and more excellent exhibits. It was introduced that all the 237 minerals were selected from private collectors who got them from Chenzhou city’s mines of Xianghualing, Manaoshan mountain, and some other places. The total value of the minerals was amounted to over 400 million yuan.

Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City visited Chenzhou pavilion before the opening ceremony of the expo. After checking some details concerned for the exhibition and propaganda work, Qu encouraged all staffs to popularize Chenzhou city’s fame as“city of decoration stone & city of mineral crystals” and make all visitors to be impressed with Chenzhou city’s abundant mineral resources and glorious mineral industry.

Qu said more attention should be placed on learning the experience from this exhibition to promote Chenzhou city’s exhibition economy on the basis of abundant mineral crystals resource. Furthermore, more cooperation chances should be seized by attending this exhibition to promote the improvement of Chenzhou city’s mineral processing industry.
