It was placed with 26million yuan investment

It was reported that Zhou Yingchun- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Minister of Propaganda Department of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee investigated Hunan Kunqu opera troupe on August 14, 2014.

Some main projects as Kunqu opera communication center, small performance hall, and etc. of the 26-million-yuan invested upgrading project of “Kunqu opera center” have been completed yet. Some supporting facilities were under the construction process. It was estimated to be placed to operation in the late October.

From the beginning of 2014, an activity named enjoying Kunqu opera performance in beautiful Chenzhou city was carried out by the troupe successfully. The troupe visited Beijinig, HK, Taiwan and some other places to share the arts with local artists and audience. In the second half of this year, a performance activity named “Yayun Sanxiang”could be handled by the troupe to popularize Kunqu opera art to the universities. Some special performances of Kunqu opera would be operated in Beijing and some other places. At the meantime, the troupe would present some performances to Chenzhou people.

Zhou Yingchun said, it was a golden season for the improvement of Kunqu opera troupe, so the troupe should follow the requirement of the construction of strong culture city and cultural demands of Chenzhou people to upgrade Kunqu opera’s further development. “Kunqu opera center” should be upgraded as the boutique project of Chenzhou city and should be forged as a boutique culture name card of Chenzhou city. It should be finished with high quality and placed to operation on time. At the meantime, focusing on the promotion of Chenzhou city, traditional cultural and elegant culture, the activities as the Kunqu opera exhibition, Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, forums, special performances in Beijing city, and etc. should be carried out well. Furthermore, marketing work and cultural well-being projects should be upgraded to reach more breakthroughs. The team construction work should be enhanced to play the best role of the talents and cultivate more successors. Better regulation and management work should be carried out with the educational practice activities.
