It was reported that Wang Yinqi- Full-time Vice Chairman of Shenzhen Association of Industry and Commerce and Full-time Deputy Director of Working Committee of Shenzhen Municipal “Two-new” Organization led a team of private entrepreneurs of Shenzhen city to visit Chenzhou city. The team mainly investigated the project of gemstone industrial park of Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Park and visited some enterprises settled down in the park. Chen Shezhao- Chairman of Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC accompanied with Wang for this investigation trip. 

Chenzhou Gemstone Industrial Park which was invested with 8billion yuan was approved by Hunan Government in this February. It covered with 2 square kilometers planning areas, including 3million square meters construction areas, which were divided into some function zones as exhibition center, trading center, auction center, business street & precious metal processing zone, jade processing zone, mineral crystal processing zone, inset processing zone, and etc. Supported with the platforms of Chenzhou Export Processing Zone, The World’s Non-ferrous Museum, South China Precious Metals Exchange, Shizuyuan Mine Park, logistics parks, and etc., it can widely carry out some cooperation and communication of gemstone there. It was planned to reach the target of total annual volume of 30-50billion yuan, including over 3billion yuan tax payment in 5 years.

Chen Shezhao presented a detailed introduction of the layout, general planning and some favorable policies of Chenzhou Gemstone Industrial Park during the investigation. It was considered by the investigation team that as the base of undertaking gemstone cultural and industrial park, Chenzhou is with many advantages on transportation, infrastructure, policy, and etc. They were confident about the bright expectation of the park with the support of Hunan government. They also expressed their willing to transfer some businesses into this park.
