Great achievements have been gained by Zixing city till the early winter season: concerned for industrial park, some major projects as second phase of Fengyue Environmental Protection, Jiulongwang Electronics, and etc. have been placed to operation; and series of emerging industrial projects as Qinglan high-speed train accessories, Hengsheng Electronics, and etc. were being proceeded well; concerned for landscapes, 22 tourism projects as scenic belts along Dongjiangwan, lake road and others have been completed; and the Dongjiang lake’s establishment of 5A landscape work has been past the step of secret investigation; concerned for the urban area, Liyujiang sewage treatment plant, Qingluhu park and other projects were being promoted under schedule, 3376 houses of the first batch shanty town issued by the central government have been distributed…

“‘Another three-year project’, we kept paying great attention on it. Industrial projects construction and infrastructure construction projects should be kept with great planning, investment and execution to promote the transformation of modes, reform and improvement of well-being condition. It was purposely to guide and lead Zixing city to be with great development and change.”Chen Rongwei- Secretary of Zixing Municipal Party Committee said ambitiously on the economic working conference held in the beginning of this year.

Focusing on the projects construction, Zixing city selected out and launched 82 key projects as Dongjiang lake diversion project in the beginning of 2014 on the basis of its county economy advantages, scientific investigation, full demonstration, scientific selection and planning. All the 82 projects covered with 32.042billion yuan budget investment, 8.418billion yuan of which was for annual planned investment with an increase of 26.83%. Productive projects which would lead the industrial transformation, service projects which would help to promote the improvement of well-being condition, infrastructure projects which would help to upgrade the city level and foresight projects which would promote the economic prosperous of Zixing city were covered in all the projects.

Industrial park is the main field for economic development. Zixing city kept placing the industrial park as the first platform for the industrial development. It focused on the target of establishing “national level economic development zone” to issue many favorable policies to the park. From the beginning of 2014, Zixing city placed great attention on the infrastructure construction to optimize the platform of the industrial park. 0.18million square meters standard workshops have been finished in the park and 10 projects covered with 1.3billion yuan budget investment, such as extend section of Jianggao road, sewage treatment plant, resettlement area for city complex, water supply network for Ziwu Industrial Park, upgrading project for Shanshan Avenue, and etc. were promoted greatly. Along with the improvement of the infrastructure condition of the park, its undertaking capacity and attraction for investment were upgraded accordingly. 27 projects as Changhong New Material, Yinhua Pharmacy, and etc. were settled down there. From January to September, the paid-in capitals were amounted to 2.524billion yuan with an increase of 9.4%.

Zixing city is a resource-exhausted city, so it kept placing tourism industry development as a strategic project for the transformation and upgrading of economy. “Tourism ten-billion investment project” was forcefully implemented in the city to promote the normalization, standardization and branding of the landscape. Currently, colorful trend for Zixing city’s tourism was presented to the world. From January to October, 1.06million tourists from domestic and abroad were received by Zixing city.

From 2014, Zixing city focused on the target of establishing “the most beautiful water city of China”to promote the upgrading and expansion of city and improve urban area’s economy. “No.1 project” of the protection of Dongjiang lake was powerfully promoted in Zixing city. Dongjiang lake was enrolled into national key lakes treatment and Asian Bank loan projects lists, which helped to obtain 2.86billion yuan investment.

From January to September, the total GDP of Zixing city hit 18.898billion yuan with an increase of 11% in comparable price; the total financial revenue was amounted to 2.285billion yuan with an increase of 6.3%.
