It is helpful to upgrade the electricity supply of mining industry of Chenzhou city

When reporters arrived at the newly finished Hunan Chenzhou 110KV Baoshan Transformation Substation on March 5, 2015, some workers were checking the operations condition of it. Along with upgrading of the grade of electricity supply of the station, it greatly helped to upgrade the stability of electricity supply for local mining industry.

Chenzhou city is famous as “county of non-ferrous metals”. 110KV Baoshan Transformation Substation is the specified 110KV transformation substation for Hunan Baoshan Non-ferrous Metal Mining Company, which is also the driving source for the deep mining of the mining company. Thanked to this project, former 10KV ordinary electricity users were upgraded to 110KV, which did not just upgrade the mining efficiency, but provide strong support for local economic development of Chenzhou city.

The deep mining can further help to increase exploitation quantity, upgrade the utilization of mines, but it also needs higher requirements for the electrical equipments such as more stable power supply compared with ordinary mining ways.
