It was learned that rating of 2014 Chenzhou industrial transformation work was released by Chenzhou Economy and Information Commission recently. Suxian district won the first place, Yongxing county and Zixing city ranked the second and third place respectively.

This rating was mainly based on three indexes as new industrialization, modern agriculture, and modern service. 2014 industrial added value, tax payment submitted by the industrial enterprises, technological innovation, agricultural industrialization, financial service, modern trade and other aspects were covered on the evaluation. Suxian district won the first place with the total points of 115.345. Concerned for the single index, its new industrialization, modern agriculture and modern service ranked first, third and fifth place respectively.

In 2014, Chenzhou city’s comprehensive economic strength was keeping improved that new industrialization, modern service and agricultural production were improved greatly. The added value of scale industry was with an increase of 12% which was 3.7% and 2.4% higher than national and Hunan provincial level, ranking the second place of Hunan province. The increasing rate on high-tech industry, deep processing industry and strategic emerging industry was 42.1%, 24.7% and 20.2% separately. Its industrial concentration was further upgraded that the added value of Hunan provincial and above level industrial parks’ scale industries was amounted to 77.44billion yuan, up 16.2%, covering 71.5% of the total added value of scale industries of Chenzhou city. The added value of service industry was with an increase of 11.5%. The total retail sales of consumer goods hit 70.67billion yuan, up 12.9%. The added value of agriculture was up 4.7% that 11 new modern agriculture demonstration areas and 12 Hunan provincial level leading agriculture enterprises were available in Chenzhou city. In 2015, Chenzhou city would try great efforts on carrying out the activity of“breaking through year of industrial construction” , especially on cultivating the improving the new economic growth point, growth pole and growth belt, promoting upgrading and transformation of industry and improving the continuous and healthy development of economy and society. All are purposely to contribute more to the comprehensive construction of well-off society.
