It was learned from Chenzhou Intangible Cultural Protection Center that this June 13 is the 10th Cultural Heritage Day of China. An activity entitled colorful Xiaoxiang- "Hunan intangible cultural heritages exhibition" would be held from June 13-15, 2015 in Shaoshan for the celebration of 2015 Cultural Heritage Day. It was sponsored by Hunan Provincial Department of Culture. 11 intangible cultural heritages from Chenzhou city would be exhibited there.

In recent years, Chenzhou city tried great efforts on the inheritance and protection of intangible cultural heritages and gained oblivious results on it. Currently, the intangible cultural heritages of Chenzhou city which were enrolled into national, Hunan provincial and Chenzhou municipal level intangible cultural heritages list were 7, 14 and 74 respectively, while the national , Hunan provincial and Chenzhou municipal level inheritors of Chenzhou city were 4, 13, and 100 separately. 48 inheritance bases and training places were named in Chenzhou city, which became one of Chenzhou city's name cards for showing the cultural connotation and regional cultural charm of Chenzhou city.

It was introduced by Su Gangqiang- Deputy Director of Chenzhou Intangible Cultural Protection Center that 27 Chenzhou city's national, Hunan provincial and Chenzhou municipal level intangible cultural heritages of 11 categories as traditional drama, folk customs, traditional skill, traditional art, and etc. would be shown on the "Cultural Heritage Day". "Kunqu opera" and "Linwu Nuo opera" of national level intangible cultural heritages, "Guidong tea tune” and "Yongxing Dabujiang joint cloth embroidery" of Hunan provincial intangible heritages, "manufacturing skills of Guiyang diced pork in pot" and "wooden carving of Xiangnan dwellings" of Chenzhou municipal level intangible heritages are available on the exhibition.
