“Beautiful Chenzhou- Xihe river trip” works exhibition opens to public

Zhang Xihui- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Minister of Chenzhou Propaganda Department announced the opening of “ beautiful Chenzhou- Xihe trip” works exhibition recently in Lianxi Academy of Ailian Lake.

It was introduced that the exhibition will last for one month. One main exhibition hall, one painting exhibition hall, one calligraphy hall, and two photograph exhibition halls were set there. The exhibition is free to the public.

From the middle of this September for middle of October, Chenzhou Literary Federation organized some local artists and invited some famous artists of China to travel around Xihe river for two times. More than 50 artists attended this activity and submitted more than 1300 woks. Over 180 works were collected from them to display on the exhibition.

In the opening day, many visitors gathered there to enjoy the works. Some children came there with their parents. Two students from Chenzhou First Middle School drew their paints in the lobby after enjoying the exhibition. Zhang Xihui stopped in front of them and shared her joys with the two students. As stated by Zhang, every work was living textbook which well showed the beauty of Xihe river.

Tang Chenghong- Member of Party Group and Vice Chairman of Hunan Provincial Literary Federation, and some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city attended the opening ceremony.
