It was reported that Lai Mingyong- Vice Chairman of Hunan Provincial CPPCC led an investigation team to carry out the special research of “countermeasures and suggestions for promoting Hunan province’s structural reform of the supply front” in Chenzhou city from March 30-31, 2016.

The team visited Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone (Export and Processing Zone) and over 10 companies of Chenzhou city. They communicated with the entrepreneurs face to face and listened carefully to their comments and suggestions on promoting Chenzhou city’s structural reform of the supply front.

From last year, Chenzhou city followed the strategic layout of “four all-arounds” to forcefully implement the principal strategy of “keeping leading role of industry, improving overall development”; followed the policy requirement of de-capacity, de-stocking, de-leverage, reduce cost, and swallow short board to fulfil the main tasks set for structural reform of the supply front. The mechanism and development modes for leading the New Normal of economic development were formed here, which helped to promote the improvement of “powerful, innovative, opening, ecological, people-oriented” Chenzhou city, and realize sound beginning for the economic and social development of “13th five-year plan”.

Lai Mingyong highly affirmed Chenzhou city’s work after listening to the reports delivered by the officials of departments and enterprises. He stated that all the comments and suggestions proposed by them would be collected into their investigation report as the reference for Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government’s policy-making. He emphasized that structural reform of the supply front is a significant strategic deployment figured out the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the basis of adapting and leading the New Normal of economic development, as well as one of the two major courses of Hunan Provincial CPPCC. Market regulation and macro regulation should be balanced and the main body role of market should be well played to pay closer attention of market demands, optimize allocation of resources, and promote the industrial upgrading.

Li Ping- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and First Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City delivered Chenzhou city’s working report on structural reform of the supply front.
