Qu Hai met Zhang Hongming

It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City met Zhang Hongming- Deputy Secretary of Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Hangzhou City on his investigation trip to Hangzhou city. The two parties shared their ideas on the further cooperation between two cities.

Zhang Hongming introduced the social and economic development of Hangzhou city in the meeting. As introduced by Zhang, by fully implementing “5 development concepts”, Hangzhou city’s economic scale, financial revenue, industrial effect, and living condition of urban and rural residents were upgraded greatly, and great achievements were gained on technological, industrial, and mechanism innovations. Both Hangzhou and Chenzhou are ancient historic cities, so they are similar on green development, ecological protection, industrial transfer, and etc. Zhang hoped that Hangzhou and Chenzhou can learn from each other to reach win-win cooperation and improvement in future.

Qu Hai introduced Chenzhou practical condition and its recent social and economic development in the meeting. Qu highly appraised that as a big international economic city, cultural city, ecological city, and opening city, Hangzhou is “national name card” of China which grained great achievements on innovation entrepreneurship, new style urbanization, overall development of urban and rural areas, ecological civilization construction, and etc. “Hangzhou experience”, “Hangzhou phenomenon”, and other sound experiences are worth Chenzhou city’s studying.

Qu Hai summarized his impression of Hangzhou city as “high level, wealthy, harmonious, and beautiful”. He said Hangzhou city’s development, construction, and planning are with high level quality; people lives in wealthy condition; the society is harmonious; and urban & rural areas and landscapes are beautiful. It was a “brainstorm” trip for their investigation of Hangzhou city, as well as a practical education trip of reform and innovation. Chenzhou city would apply the investigation results to further development of Chenzhou tourism industry and urban construction, and try best to gain more achievements on popular tourism and upgrading of city.

Qu also stated that Chenzhou city took active actions on docking with the Yangtze River Delta area and southeast coastal area in the process of continuous opening up and docking with Pearl River Delta. He expressed the hope to deepen the cooperation with Hangzhou city in more fields, and delivered sincere invitation to Zhejiang visitors and investors as well.

Some Chenzhou municipal leaders accompanied Qu with the meeting, and some Hangzhou municipal leaders attended the meeting as well.
