Recently, Rucheng county gained 6million yuan central funds for its newly approved "2016 50-billion-kilogram production capacity planning program". All the funds would be placed on the field engineering project of Yao minority town.

It was introduced that this planning program is jointly carried out by the State Development and Reform Commission, the Agriculture Ministry, and the Water Conservancy Ministry. It is purposely to upgrade the comprehensive production capacity of grain and grant safe food security to the State. The key contents are small water conservancy facilities, farm land leveling, improvement of soil and agricultural machines, and etc.

Rucheng county placed great attention on the cultivation of agricultural industrialization and improvement of standard demonstration base of agriculture. It planned to place 209million yuan on the improvement of 50,800mu high standard farmlands in 2016.
