It was learned from Chenzhou Statistics Bureau that Zixing Tangdong sub-district ranks top ten list of fastest economic development sub-district of Chenzhou city for three consecutive years.

In recent years, Tangdong sub-district followed the target of "keeping the leading place and reaching new achievements", kept the core of economic construction, promoted investment attraction and project construction, and innovated new measures, which helped to optimize the structure, motivate the energy of non-public economy, improve urban and rural living condition, gain rapid economic development, and grant people with stable and harmonious society.

From the beginning of this year, followed the target of improving to be top 100 towns, promoting overall development of urban and rural areas, and establishing well-off society, and focused on the comprehensive pilot of national new urbanization, the sub-district paid closer attention on projects construction, obtaining capitals, investment attraction, promotion of consumption, supporting enterprises, increasing fiscal and tax incomes, improving living condition and employment, and accurate poverty alleviation.

According to the statistics, the total GDP of this sub-district is amounted to 6.824billion yuan, up 27.24%, including 0.2049billion yuan of first industry, up 15.76%, 6.537billion yuan of secondary industry, up 27.69%, and 0.0817billion yuan of tertiary industry, up 21.7%. The net income of urban (rural) residents was 25764yuan/year, up 27.4%. Thanks to the economic development, the well-being condition of the town was kept being improved and was enrolled into the top ten list fastest economic development sub-district of Chenzhou city for three consecutive years.
