“The general target for following 5 years of Guiyang county is to improve it to be demonstration of increasing pole,” said Peng Shengzhi who is the Secretary of Guiyang County Party Committee. In order to fulfil the target, an annual plan was figured out on 12th Party Congress of Guiyang County recently.

Guiyang County is one of the top ten strong economy counties of Hunan Province as well as the first batch of qualified counties The county would try great efforts on implementing the strategy of “integration, improvement of industries, happy county” to improve it to be the demonstration of new increasing pole in following 5 years. It would try to gain new breakthroughs on economic and social development via innovation, association, green, opening, sharing, and culture-lead. It would pay special attention on establishing modern industrial new system: on one hand, it would guide some traditional and advantageous industries as non-ferrous metal, agricultural products processing, ceramics, and etc. to expand the industrial chain, improve industrial system, and upgrade the industrial efficiency; on the other hand, it would pay more attention on electronics information, new energy, new material, biomedical, energy saving and environmental protection, and other strategic emerging industries, and support the some new energy industries as wind power, photovoltaics, and other new energy industries. In the meantime, more efforts would be tried on improving modern agriculture and modern service by carrying out the “internet+” activity.

It was aimed to improve the establishment of modern industrial new system and hit 50billion yuan GDP target in 2020, while the above scale industrial added value and fiscal revenue hit 30billion yuan and 5 billion yuan respectively.
