It was reported that Xinjiang Men’s Basketball Team released the name list for 2016 FIBA Asia Champions Cup on October 4. Zhou Qi and Andrei Blazy who did not attend the preseason games were enrolled into the list. Li Yin who is one of the team members of Chinese Men’s Basketball Team, and Sun Tonglin and Luo Xudong who were enrolled into the team lately were in the list as well.

It was learned that the champions cup would be launched in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province on this October 8. Xinjiang Team which belongs to B group will fight with the teams from Iraq, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia. According to the lottery rules, the team from host country can select the group by itself, so Xinjiang Team choose B group which can avoid to fight against Iran Team- the champion team from Western Asia.

It is worth recalling that Xinjiang Team beat Kazakhstan with the record of 105:68 under the condition of the absence of Zhou Qi and Blazy.
