It was learned from Chenzhou Holiday Office that during this National Day Holiday, new records of tourism economy were hit by Chenzhou city. According to the statistics, over 4.11million visitors were received by Chenzhou city, up 20.8%, contributing 2.08billion yuan tourism revenue, up 23.5%. No serious tourism accident happened.
There are following features for the tourism market of this holiday: the tourism was driven by festivals and rural tourism was kept hot. Thanks to the successful Hunan Chenzhou 1st Beautiful Rural Tourism and Culture Festival, the rural tourism became a hot spot of Chenzhou city. 180,000 visitors were received by Guiyang Shennong Bee Farm, contributing 2.30million yuan tourism revenue, up 1000%. Over tens thousands of visitors traveled to Zixing Youshui Salmon, Jiahe Guanyin Farm, and some other destinations, which contributed double-digit growth of local tourism revues.
Along with the improvement of Chenzhou City’s transportation condition, multiple travelling methods were available for visitors. Self-driving travel was one of the key ways chosen by visitors. Large numbers of vehicles from other places were driven to Dongjiang Lake, Suxianling, Rucheng Hot Spring, Sanhe Village, and other scenic spots of Chenzhou City. Cycling groups were hot as well. Some landscapes were too hot to get tickets. According to the record, 92,000 visitors were received by Dongjiang Lake Landscape, contributing over 8.60million yuan tourism revenue. The booking rates of some hotels as Huatian, International, and etc. were even higher 93%.
During the holiday, some volunteers who were mainly in charge of traffic guidance, interpretation of sceneries, releasing of brochures were enrolled by the scenic spots. In the meantime, better services were provided by the landscapes and travel agencies, which enabled to improve the civilization level of tourism.
