It was learned from the Management Office of Dongjiang Lake Landscape that “the General plan for Dongjiang Lake Landscape (2016-2030)” was approved by the State Council and was replied by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

Dongjiang Lake Landscape is covered with 290kilometers areas, 92.7 of which are core scenery areas. Dongjiang Lake, small Dongjiang, Dongjiang drifting, Doulv island, and etc. are the key scenic spots.

As stated on “the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development’s reply to the general plan of Dongjiang Lake Landscape”: signs for the landscape and core scenery areas should be placed within one year after the approval of the plan, which is aimed to improve the signs system of national landscape. The lake, natural island, geological landmark, historical sites, wild animals and plants, and etc. Some illegal behaviors as mining, deforestation, water pollution, damage of historical relics, and etc. are prohibited. The buildings or facilities which badly affect the overall sceneries of the landscape should be reconstructed, removed, or demolished within specified period. Some infrastructures as sanitary, sewage treatment, disaster control, and etc. should be improved. The reasonable volume of visitors in one day should be controlled within 23,000/day and the maximum number should be less 39,000 kilometers.
