According to the report, after the implementation of ID cards remote service, the residents will get the ID cards within sixty days from the date when the citizens submit the "ID card remote registration form"; the processing time can be appropriately extended in the area of traffic inconvenience, but the extension time shall not exceed 30 days; the cycle of production and issuance can be shortened according to the actual situation in the conditional places.

 

Citizens applying for ID cards remote reissuance and replacement should pay the fees to the Public Security Organs in the acceptance places. The charging standards of ID cards fees should be strictly carried out according to the regulation of "Notice of the National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Finance on the charging standards for ID cards and related issues" and the Public Security Organs shall not charge additional fees. According to the regulation, the Public Security Organs charge for the fee of 20 yuan each card from the residents who apply for and replace the second generation ID cards, charge for the fee of 40 yuan each card from the residents who reissue due to loss and replace due to damage the second generation ID cards. The Public Security Organs charge for 10 yuan each card from residents who apply for temporary second generation ID cards.
