The president of Xinhua News Agency Hunan Branch Zou Yun and his party carried out a 6-day investigation interview on the "poverty alleviation work of Luoxiaoshan area" in Chenzhou and held the forum on February 28. Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee Chen Xuechu chaired the meeting.

Last year, Chenzhou City with a focus on Luoxiaoshan area and taking the poor people, poor villages and poor counties out of poverty as the goal, achieved 80409 people and 68 poor villages out of poverty and the targeted poverty alleviation work was ranked in the forefront of the province.

Zou Yun fully affirmed the city's targeted poverty alleviation work. For the next work, Zou Yun pointed out that we should adhere to the principal of "accurate diagnosis and exact decision-making", should do a good job on the accurate identification work for poor households and poor villages and should make the targeted poverty alleviation work plan; should grasp the team building and inject new vitality into grassroots poverty alleviation work for the purpose of "leaving a team of poverty alleviation team"; should adhere to the policy of relocating the poor with the masses as the main body, should implement the arrangement locally and nearby, and should effectively solve a series of basic problems of restricting life and development for poor people, such as problems of traffic, electricity and etc.. At the same time, for the views and suggestions, Xinhua News Agency Hunan Branch would initiate the discussion and appeal through the public opinion advantages and strive to get the preferential policy support on poverty alleviation work from the Party Central Committee and provincial departments to help the poor people and areas out of poverty as soon as possible.
