It was understood that the in-depth research would be carried out and focus on the basic situation of city's volunteer service organization and the situation of external supervision and internal operation; the major difficulties and problems in the city's development of volunteer service organizations; the experience and practice of developing volunteer service organizations and building the volunteer service system by the advance reigns inside and outside the province, the related comparative study, countermeasures and suggestions, and other respects.

Participants put forward the suggestions and opinions on how to strengthen the guidance, training, propaganda and overall management of volunteer service organizations, construct the incentive mechanism and other issues.

The Vice Chairman of Municipal CPPCC Li Xuelian said that this year was the sprint year of Chenzhou to create a national civilized city. All levels of departments should further improve their ideological awareness, increase publicity efforts to improve the recognition rate and support rate of the city's volunteer service; should highlight the important groups of leading cadres and students, further expand the volunteer team on the existing basis, and enhance the participation of volunteer service to promote the establishment of national civilized city, build the "volunteer city" and provide good social security and social support for accelerating the construction of "five Chenzhou", creating the "new growth pole" of Hunan, and taking the lead in building the comprehensive well-off.
