On March 6, the city's "7th Five-Year Plan" legal publicity and education work conference was held in the assembly hall of Municipal Government. The conference reviewed the "6th Five-Year Plan" popularizing-law work of Chenzhou and made the arrangement and deployment on the "7th Five-Year Plan" popularizing-law work.

Reporters learned at the conference that since the "6th Five-Year Plan" popularizing-law work carried out, the special funds of popularizing-law and ruling by law in Chenzhen City has increased from 0.2 yuan per capita in the city's total population during the period of the "5th Five-Year Plan" popularizing-law to 0.4 yuan per capita. The standard that 0.4 yuan per capita in the region’s total population of counties and cities increasing to 0.6 yuan per capita has been included in the fiscal budget at the same level, to provide a strong guarantee for further promoting the "6th Five-Year Plan" popularizing-law work. 125 departments (industry) and units have been awarded of the "provincial demonstration window unit of acting by law". The law publicity form has developed from the past single way of distributing publicity materials to the comprehensive use of network, television (radio), mobile phones, WeChat platform, public electronic display, law propaganda corridor, law blocks, law parks and other means.

The conference pointed out that we should unify the thinking, raise the awareness, and earnestly enhance the sense of mission and responsibility of doing a good job in popularizing-law and ruling by law; should serve the overall situation and comprehensively promote the popularizing-law and ruling by law around economic and social development. The conference stressed that we should strengthen the leadership to ensure that the "7th Five-Year Plan" popularizing-law and ruling by law will achieve real results.

The conference also commended the advanced model of the "6th Five-Year Plan" popularizing-law and ruling by law. The counties, cities and units of Zixing, Yongxing and Municipal Finance Bureau made the experience exchanging speeches at the conference.

Municipal Standing Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Law Liu Zhiwei, Vice Mayor Zhang Jun and Vice Chairman of Municipal CPPCC Li Xuelian attended the conference.
