On March 7, Chenzhou and China Life Insurance Company Chenzhou branch signed an agreement on cooperation in insurance poverty alleviation and held the poverty alleviation donation ceremony, and signed the "Insurance Cooperation Agreement on Poverty Alleviation".

The reporters learned from the meeting that China Life Chenzhou branch will joint the Municipal Poverty Alleviation Office, Municipal Women's Federation and Municipal Family Planning Association to donate the "Female Health Insurance" to the city's 15,000 poor women from the family planning families which have built the cards, each insured amount of 20,000 yuan and total insured of 300 million yuan.

The agreement aims to focus on supporting the poverty alleviation and development work of the 440,000 poor populations in Chenzhou. According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate to innovate the financial poverty alleviation mechanism, focus on supporting poverty alleviation industry innovation in poverty-stricken areas, and focus on enhancing the level of risk protection of the city's poor population.

Municipal Poverty Alleviation Office should actively play a policy guide and organize the advantages of coordination, to promote the implementation of insurance poverty alleviation work. At the same time, China Life Chenzhou Branch will give full play to the advantages of technology and network to provide appropriate protection, low-cost, and various types of poverty alleviation insurance products for the poor population.

The signing of the agreement through the introduction of commercial insurance companies participating in poverty alleviation work for the poor will share the personal risk for the poor, can effectively relieve the phenomenon of "poverty caused by illness, due to illness to the poor" and marks that the government and enterprises jointly help the poverty alleviation step onto a new level.
