On March 9, the meeting of Chairman of Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce （FIC）and Party Secretary was held in Chenzhou. The meeting summarized and reviewed the work of 2016 and searched and deployed the work of 2017.
In 2016, the Municipal and County FIC highlighted the focus and pushed on closely around the center work of Party committee and government, and made new achievements in education guidance, organization, targeted poverty alleviation, self-construction, innovation and non-public economic way.

Vice Chairman of Municipal CPPCC and Chairman of Municipal FIC Wu Guanghui required that the Municipal and County FIC should fully understand the present situation and tasks faced by the FIC and do the work of Municipal and County FIC with a strong sense of responsibility and the spirit of reform and innovation; should effectively strengthen the leaning for related policies and new market economy knowledge of Party and government; should emancipate the mind, update their ideas, put down their posts to make friends with entrepreneurs, and actively participate in services to enhance the entrepreneurs' sense of belonging and status; should innovate the work ideas and improve the work ability; should carefully complete the work assigned by the superiors with high-spirited and hard-working spirit; should vigorously strengthen the self-construction of Municipal and County FIC, enhance the leadership's of decision-making ability on scientific, democratic and legal to create a cadre team with strong political and excellent business ability. The Municipal and County FIC should vigorously develop trade chamber of commerce and associations, and strive to build a member team of FIC with high political quality, good social image, strong representation, reasonable structure and sufficient quantity.
