On July 3, the special group meeting on economic reform in Chenzhou was held. The meeting listened to the promotion situation of economic reform from the members and units of special group from January to May, analyzed the difficulties and problems in the study, and deployed the next stage of tasks.

At the meeting, the responsible person of Municipal Development and Reform Commission explained the main task of the 2017 economic system reform. The responsible person of Municipal Economic and Information Technology Committee, Municipal Bureau of Commerce and other 13 economic system reform lead units reported the situation, difficulties and problems of reform work in the first half of this year and the next step of the working thought in combination with their actual situation. The specific work for the 13 lead units was deployed at the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that the lead units have effectively grasped, paid more attention to the economic system reform and achieved good effect to promote economic development since the first half of the year. But there was a problem of imbalance from the reform of the planning, design, arrangement, deployment, scheduling and other aspects of the work.

The meeting required that the lead units should take the economic system reform as a regular work and work together to jointly plan, deploy and promote; the economic system reform leading group office should strengthen the scheduling, and implement all work; should do the analysis and prejudgment in the process of major program reform; should focus on the actual effect of reform and take the reform as the driving force for economic and social development; the lead units should have the special team and staff to solidly promote the reform work; should strengthen the publicity reports, information reporting and information exchange.

Municipal Standing Committee, Executive Vice Mayor and the leader of economic system reform team Shou Jianzhong, Deputy Mayor Zhou Hailin, Chen Rongwei, He Zunqing, and Deputy Secretary of Party Working Committee and Director of the Administration Committee of Chenzhou high-tech industry development zone Li Liming attended the meeting.
