From September 18 to 19, Guilin Party Secretary and Municipal People's Congress Director Zhao Leqin led Guilin party and government delegation to investigate the development of red tourism in Chenzhou City. Chenzhou Party Secretary and Municipal People's Congress Director Yi Pengfei participated in the investigation activities.

Guilin party and government delegation visited the Xiangnan Uprising Monument and Xiangnan Uprising Memorial Hall. After a detailed understanding of the historical background of Southern Hunan Uprising and the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs in Chenzhou, they appreciated the experience of protecting and utilizing revolutionary sites and building red tourism in Chenzhou.

The Shazhou Village Yao Town Rucheng County, the place of "Half of the quilt" story also left a deep impression to Guilin party and government delegation. Now Shazhou Village actively carries forward the spirit of the Long March, carries out the infrastructure upgrading and improvement, and the hollow village reconstruction in the whole village, integrates the "red culture, green environment, ancient village", and strives to create the classic red tourism country and patriotism education base. Zhao Leqin said that it is worthwhile to learn and draw lessons from the transformation of ancient residential buildings, sewage treatment and other aspects in Shazhou Village.

After field investigation, Guilin Party and government delegation highly praised the efforts to vigorously protect the red tourism resources, actively promote the development of red tourism and utilize the revolutionary historical and cultural heritage to promote economic and social development and hoped that the two cities will strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the red tourism to achieve mutual benefits and promote common development.
