Recently, sponsored by Bethune Public Welfare Foundation and directed by Hunan Health Commission and Hunan Medical Security Bureau, the Targeted Poverty Alleviation Project of Hunan Lymphoma Experts at the Grass-roots was into Chenzhou to help Chenzhou grassroots doctors and relevant practitioners grasp the most cutting-edge lymphoma diagnosis and treatment technology.

It was understood that with the rapid development of the aging population in China, lymphoma patients show an obvious growth trend, but there is still a certain gap between the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma in Chenzhou Grass-roots Hospital and the advanced level at home and abroad. Misdiagnosis, missed diagnosis and other phenomena occur from time to time, which not only delays the patient's condition, but also increases the burden of the patient himself and his family.

In response to the national policy of "targeted poverty alleviation" in the medical field, the Bethune Public Welfare Foundation launched the large-scale lecture tour. During the two-day training, experts from Xiangya Second Hospital of Central South University, Cancer Prevention and Control Center of Sun Yat-sen University, Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University, Zhuzhou Central Hospital and Chenzhou First People's Hospital gathered to make an in-depth interpretation of the latest progress in diagnosis and treatment of mantle cell lymphoma, the guidelines and progress of diagnosis and treatment of chronic lymphoma cell leukemia, the treatment and overall management of multiple myeloma, and the policy interpretation and current situation of 17 anticancer drugs, and share and exchange with actual cases in provinces and municipalities.

The relevant person in charge of the meeting introduced that the activity was the 5th tour of Bethune Public Welfare Foundation since the project was launched in Hunan Province, following Huaihua, Xiangtan, Shaoyang and Yongzhou. It is helpful to promote the standardized diagnosis and treatment level of lymphoma in Chenzhou, to build a provincial, municipal and county-level lymphoma prevention and treatment system, and to help the majority of patients to obtain the timely and effective treatment.
