On August 13, Yi Pengfei, Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Director of Standing Committee of Chenzhou Municipal People's Congress, came to Rucheng County to investigate the development of poverty alleviation and cultural tourism industry.

Yi Pengfei and his team firstly came to Chenzhou Mucaoren Tea Industry Co., Ltd., with full of tea fragrance. The company is a privately-owned enterprise integrating tea planting, production, processing, sales, scientific research, tea culture experience and training. In July 2017, the company was identified as the key agricultural leading enterprise of Chenzhou city. Its main products are “Nanling Chixia” and “White Silver Needle”.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that geographical characteristics create geographical indication products. Enterprises should highlight their product characteristics, enhance its influence and win more share of the market, granting more profits to the company and gaining more incomes for peasants. It should play a good demonstration role on setting good example of agricultural leading enterprises with solid base and long-term plan, rather than blindness and radicalism.

Chilies which are cultivated in Daping Town Chili Poverty Alleviation Industry Base grow beautifully in this sunny day. There are 400 mu conoides, 200 mu line pepper and 750 mu brilliant red pepper available in the base. It has driven 2,526 local families to plant 3,986 mu chilies. A reserve purchase contract of 3,070 mu chilies was signed with some enterprises as well. All of those effectively solve the problem of local labor force employment.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that agricultural development should apply the concept of all-in-one tourism, integrate tourism elements, and promote the chili base to be updated to chili industry. Yi also suggested that it should focus on the theme of chili to improve tourism, entertainment, experiential agriculture, and expand the industrial chain of chili. Comprehensive ideas should be used to guide the development of agriculture, as well as achieve best effects of agricultural industry.

At the site of the Zhu's tourism integration development project, Yi Pengfei pointed out that the propaganda, cultural tourism and other departments of Rucheng County should focus on the cultural tourism industry in Rucheng, systematically compile and collect all kinds of materials, inherit, and etc. to enrich the connotation of Rucheng County.

At the Luoquan Hot Spring Comprehensive Development Project site, Yi Pengfei emphasized that it is necessary to pay attention to efficiency, not blindly to investment and expansion, and it is better to upgrade the service and quality and retain consumers with quality services and products.
