On August 16th, the launching ceremony of 4th “Care for Tomorrow, Start from Legal Education” Youth Legal Education Program was held in Chenzhou City.

Yuan Weixiang, member of the StandingCommittee of the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Law Committee, and Honorary Director of Chenzhou Municipal Working Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech.

It was learned that 4th “Care for Tomorrow, Start from Legal Education” Youth Legal Education Program will be started in September 2019 and last till December 2021.

This activity will be carried out through the popularization of the Constitution, the Civil Law, the Law on the Protection of Minors, the Law on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency, the Law on the National Flag, the Road Traffic Safety Law, and the Fire Law. It is aimed to improve primary school students' legal enlightenment and legal common sense education, cultivate self-reflection, self-protection awareness and law-abiding concept; strengthen the legal basic theory education of college students, firmly establish the awareness of advocating law and obeying the law, enhance the concept of the rule of law, and gradually improve overall understanding of the law among young people who are the future developer and successor of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

The meeting pointed out that carrying out youth legal education is an important political task to thoroughly implement the internship in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the "four comprehensive" strategic deployment. It is necessary to strengthen leadership, raise awareness, and gradually establish a long-term mechanism for youth legal education.

It is necessary to clarify the key points of the task, make good use of the "key" team, do a good job in educational positions, innovate the carrier of activities, pay attention to typical propaganda, put the work of legal education into practice and achieve better results. All departments should well cooperate with each other to promote the youth legal education work.
