On the morning of August 25, Liu Zhiren, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Chenzhou City, investigated the key projects of the new campus of No. 1 Middle School and the extension section of East Renmin Road in Chenzhou City.

In the new campus of Chenzhou No. 1 Middle School, Liu Zhiren went into the teaching building, canteen, dormitory and campus square to get a detailed understanding of the final construction of the project. The construction of Chenzhou No.1 Middle School New Campus started in August 2017. Up to now, the teaching building, experimental building, canteen and student dormitory required for the start of school this autumn have been redecorated. The final sanitary cleaning work is under way. It will be delivered to use before the start of school on September 1st. The school road hardening, campus greening and other ancillary facilities are steadily advancing.

Liu Zhiren said that Chenzhou No. 1 Middle School is a major public service and livelihood project in Chenzhou. The construction of the school is of great significance in resolving the problem of large class in primary and secondary schools in the central city of Chenzhou, promoting balanced and coordinated development of education and building a strong city of education. Now, there are still a few days before the school starts on September 1st. The time is tight and the task is heavy. We should organize the construction scientifically and strive to ensure that the construction task is completed on schedule and that the school starts smoothly in autumn; pay special attention to construction safety, and strictly prevent all kinds of safety accidents; strictly supervise quality and build quality projects; pay special attention to food safety to ensure that students eat clean, safe and reassuring food; strengthen the training of teachers' skills, build a first-class teaching staff, establish rules and regulations, strengthen the internal management of schools, strengthen the construction of campus culture, and build a first-class school.

Liu Zhiren said that the opening of the extension section of East Renmin Road will effectively ease the traffic pressure in Chenzhou's central urban area, accelerate the integration of old and new urban areas, and improve the quality of the city.
