On the afternoon of September 4, the network media Chenzhou travel activities, sponsored by the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Information Office and co-sponsored by the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Research Office and the network information offices of counties and municipalities, was officially launched in the Xiangnan Rebellion Memorial Hall.

The purpose of the network media Chenzhou travel activities of "Keep history in mind and move forward — passing on the red gene from generation to generation", with the theme of "never forget the original mind and remember the mission" was to to excavate the Chenzhou Red Revolutionary Culture by means of in-depth first-line and field visits, interviews, surveys and on-the-spot observations, so as to further carry forward the revolutionary spirit and inherit the red gene.

It was understood that more than 10 mainstream media journalists from the provinces and municipalities, such as People's Daily, Xinhua Net, China News, Sina Hunan Station, Netease Hunan Station, Rednet Chenzhou Station, Chenzhou Radio and Television Finance Media Center, will enter 11 counties and cities of Chenzhou, such as Yizhang, Rucheng, Guidong, Guiyang, Linwu and Anren, in a period of six days, and review the revolutionary history, deeds and spirit to show the tremendous changes that have taken place in Chenzhou since the founding of New China, especially since the reform and opening up with new perspectives, forms and means.

After the launching ceremony, mainstream media reporters from all provinces and municipalities visited the Xiangnan Rebellion Memorial Hall.
