It was understood that the activities will focus on the theme of "Praising China, Wisdom New Life", and carry out a series of popular science activities for teenagers, such as science caravan into the campus, scientists' speeches, popular science summer camp, popular science drama performances, etc. The sponsors will jointly carry out voluntary service activities for rural revitalization with the departments of science and technology, health and agriculture and rural areas. They will organize scientific and technological experts and health professionals at all levels to visit communities, rural areas and enterprises to disseminate popular science and health medical knowledge in a popular form.

During the event, Chenzhou's popular science venues will actively launch popular science exhibitions or publicity activities related to the theme, and organize popular science education bases, rural middle school youth palace, rural middle school science and technology museum to open to the public free of charge; will dispatch caravans and mobile science and technology museums to serve relevant counties (cities and districts), especially schools and townships (streets and communities) in poor counties, and make full use of modern information technology to carry out online and offline activities such as educational experiments and network popular science; will actively organize science and technology enthusiasts to participate in the national scientific quality online competition in 2019, the national farmers' scientific quality online knowledge competition, and the third scientific quality online competition in Hunan Province.
