Recently, Rucheng No. 1 Middle School received a special gift - a congratulatory letter from Tsinghua University. In the congratulatory letter, Tsinghua University expressed its gratitude to Rucheng No. 1 Middle School for sending two outstanding students to the school this year, and congratulated on its achievements in educating people.

In recent years, Rucheng has made great progress, deepened reform, sought development through scientific management, adhered to quality education, steadily improved the quality of education and teaching, and achieved a step-by-step annual college entrance examination results. From 2016 to 2019, six students from Rucheng No. 1 were admitted to Tsinghua and Peking University, becoming the only school in Chenzhou City that had students admitted to Tsinghua and Peking University for four consecutive years.
