Recently, Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, had a discussion with Yao Yingjie, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Airport Management Group Co., Ltd., and Director of the Provincial Airport Administration Bureau. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on relevant cooperation issues of Beihu Airport, and reached a consensus on cooperation matters.

Beihu Airport has invested 610 million yuan this year and 1.97 billion yuan since its construction. Among them, the total investment of Beihu Airport Navigation Base Project has reached 119 million yuan, which can be basically completed in October. At the same time, the operation preparation of Beihu Airport started orderly. On August 28, the municipal government and the Provincial Airport Management Group formally signed the trusteeship agreement of Beihu Airport.

On behalf of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, Liu Zhiren thanked the Provincial Airport Management Group for its long-term concern for Chenzhou's economic and social development, especially for its strong support for the construction of Chenzhou Beihu Airport. Liu Zhiren said that at present, Chenzhou is implementing the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping in Hunan and Chenzhou in the practical actions, implementing the spirit of the 11th plenary session of the 11th provincial Party committee, speed up the docking of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area, increase the opening-up, accelerate the undertaking of industrial transfer, and promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou.

Liu Zhiren pointed out that Beihu Airport is of great significance in promoting Chenzhou's high-quality development and expanding its opening to the outside world. It was hoped that the Provincial Airport Management Group will give full support to the construction and navigation of Chenzhou Beihu Airport, and dispatch excellent management team to settle in Chenzhou Beihu Airport as soon as possible to carry out trusteeship work, so as to promote the smooth flight of Chenzhou Beihu Airport and realize the official navigation goal. He also hoped to strengthen the cooperation with the Provincial Airport Management Group in the aspects of general airport, general aviation industry, airport industry, air freight, red education, red tourism, cadre exchange and training, and carry out all-round and deep-seated cooperation to achieve win-win development.

Yao Yingjie said that the airport plays an important role in the economic and social development of a region, and the Provincial Airport Management Group will dispatch elite officers to Beihu Airport as soon as possible to participate in the entrusted management of the airport. They hoped to continue to strengthen cooperation with Chenzhou in the fields of navigation, freight transportation and red tourism, so as to boost the high-quality development of Chenzhou.
