Li Ping and his party successively came to Chenzhou Taiyi Surface Coating Technology Co., Ltd., Lutang Graphite Industrial Park Haoying Graphite Co., Ltd. and Nanfang Graphite Co., Ltd. in the Changchong Industrial Park of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone, they inspected the production and operation of enterprises and project construction, listened to the reports of the responsible persons of the enterprises, and held a consultation meeting on the handling of key proposal No. 1 in 2020 of the CPPCC municipal committee, focusing on key issues and holding discussions.

At the forum, the person in charge of the sponsor and co organizer of the proposal reported the handling of the proposal, and the participants put forward good opinions and suggestions on the further development of graphite industry in our city. In recent years, our city has focused on cultivating graphite industry as a dominant industrial chain, formulated and implemented the "Chenzhou modern graphite industry development plan (2016-2025)", established a coordination mechanism, implemented policies and measures, and promoted the development of graphite industry. However, at present, the industry is still dominated by the production and sales of raw ores, raw materials and primary products, with short industrial chain, few deep processed products, low added value and weak brand competitiveness. Therefore, the transformation and upgrading of graphite industry is imminent.

Li Ping pointed out that the graphite industry has resource advantages, market advantages and basic advantages in Chenzhou, and all relevant departments should further strengthen the support and guidance for the graphite industry on the basis of preliminary achievements. We will further strengthen and do detailed industrial planning, tackling key scientific and technological problems, attracting investment in the industrial chain, and introducing talents, so as to create a good business environment.
