Recently, the "5G + smart sanitation" created by Hunan Chenzhou Unicom has appeared in Chenzhou City to help urban management with "smart eyes".

It was reported that Chenzhou Unicom focused on the intelligent upgrading of urban sanitation, carried out in-depth cooperation with the sanitation department, detected the garbage with the help of Unicom 5G Internet of things technology, and realized accurate classification by voice reminding users to divide the garbage. At the same time, "5G + VR" intelligent cameras were equipped on the dustbin and sanitation vehicle to monitor the amount of garbage in the dustbin and the whole process of garbage disposal in real time, upload the disposal situation to the big data platform, and synchronize it to the sanitation management station and the mobile terminal app of sanitation work, so that the recyclable garbage can be effectively collected and the harmful garbage can be prevented from polluting the environment.

At present, Chenzhou Unicom has set up 5000 smart dustbins in the urban area of Chenzhou as a pilot. In the next step, it will cover all districts and counties of Chenzhou City, and fully use 5G technology to help urban management.
