Recently, the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Rucheng County has purchased 200 tons of organic fertilizer from Yiyang Fulilai Biotechnology Co., Ltd., which will be used in the pod pepper base of Xiangru Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., Rucheng County. As the first national green raw food material (pod pepper) production base to conduct demonstration and promotion of green production materials, it marks a new era for the promotion and application of green production materials in Hunan Province.
In 2010, Rucheng County successfully established a national green raw food material (pod pepper) production base of 100,000 mu (about 6,500 acres), which consolidated the foundation of green food development, guaranteed the supply of raw materials for green food processing enterprises, and effectively promoted the regional layout of pod pepper. Standardized production, industrialized operation, large-scale development and branding guidance have enhanced the brand competitiveness of its pod pepper.
In recent years, Rucheng County has attached great importance to the planting of green food and organic agricultural products by issuing incentive policies and encouraged producers to apply for green organic agricultural products. At present, there are 46 green food certificates from 17 enterprises, which tops the province. "Rucheng Baimao Tea" has passed the review for geographical indication of agricultural products.
In 2020, Rucheng County Agricultural and Rural Bureau led a team to Yiyang Fulilai Biotechnology to investigate the raw materials, production process and product quality of green raw materials.
