Documentary about stories of CPC members to be aired

2021-06-16

Haoshan Village in Anren County, Chenzhou City used to be a severely poverty-stricken village in Hunan Province. In 1985, several retired teachers, cadres, veterans and farmers did something incredible at that time–build a library in the village. Over the past 36 years, the rural library has witnessed the county being lifted out of poverty and helped many children realize their college dreams to see a bigger world outside. All these would have been impossible without the efforts and persistence of the local Party members.

“CPC Members: Hidden Heroes” is a documentary series produced by China Daily, which tells the stories about some CPC members among the total of over 91 million CPC members. This series will be aired overseas at the same time.
