On July 8, Chenzhou Radio and Television University held the second class on the use of smart technology for the elderly.
This course focuses on the common functions of cell phones, user safety and photography that are seen in the daily lives of the elderly. The participants were taught some basic operations such as adjusting fonts, brightness, using mobile payment, public transportation, online learning and the advanced functions of photography.
In addition, they were also taught how to strengthen phone security awareness, prevent personal information and money from being stolen. And various difficulties they may encounter in using smarts phones also got solved in class.
In order to dissolve the digital divide and enable the elderly to share the digital dividends, Chenzhou Radio and Television University plans to conduct 15 classes on the use of smart technology for the elderly by the end of July, and over 10 events will also be held in the community colleges of various counties (county-level cities and districts).
This will benefit more than 6,500 seniors in the city, helping them to solve the difficulties in using smart technology and enjoy the better life brought by smart technology.
