Recently, the lotus flowers in the space lotus planting base, Shangmodao Village, Linwu County, Chenzhou City, are blooming, drawing in numerous visitors from surrounding counties and cities to enjoy the flowers. 

 

 

 

In recent years, the village has made full use of local land resources, and organized local farmers to study in other places such as Jiangxi Province, Guiyang County and Ningyuan County in Yongzhou City, to develop lotus seeds planting industry and promote rural tourism, which helped increase villagers’ income and advance rural revitalization.

 

 

More than 4,000 kilograms of lotus seeds are produced each year in the village, and over 50 jobs are provided for local farmers with an annual income of more than 6,000 yuan. Each summer, tens of thousands of people come to Shangmodao Village to appreciate the lotus flowers, bringing an additional revenue of over 2 million yuan for the village.
