2021-07-19
From January to June this year, 33,977 urban jobs were created in Chenzhou, and 30,003 rural workers were transferred to new jobs, completing 61.78% and 85.72% of the annual target respectively. The registered urban unemployment rate was 2.14%, 2.36 percentage points lower than the target.

Keeping up with the market demand, Chenzhou carried out vocational skills training for 45,446 workers, among whom 16,447 were trained for urgently needed jobs.

The multiplier effects of start-ups on employment were fully played, since the government granted 135 million yuan of guaranteed loans in support of 671 people’s self-employment. 530 trains were opened to help 17,000 rural migrant workers return to work safely. 13,002 laid-off workers and 4,776 people who had difficulty in finding jobs were reemployed, and members of zero-employment households were employed.

Through the "Internet Plus Employment" information platform, Chenzhou held 938 recruitment fairs, which provided 182,200 jobs.

The city has comprehensively strengthened community (village) building with full employment, implemented the "One Person, One Policy" employment assistance service to achieve full coverage of "311" employment services and the goal of 100% employment rate for selected people.

Next, Chenzhou will continue to achieve stable and high-quality employment by doing a good job in creating jobs and supporting startups, ensuring the overall stability of the employment.
