Forum helps boost cultural tourism of Mangshan Mountain

The first forum on high-quality development of Mangshan Mountain’s Cultural Tourism Integration was held in Yizhang County, Chenzhou City recently.
With the theme of “deep integration of culture and tourism for a shared future”, many cultural and tourism experts made keynote speeches to discuss the development direction, new paths, new models and new practices of culture and tourism integration in Mangshan Mountain Scenic Area.
As the main national ecological function area, Yizhang's forest coverage rate is 62.6%. Especially, it is as high as 99.9% in Mangshan Mountain. Yizhang is rich in hot spring resources and known as the hometown of hot springs in China. There are a number of 4A-level and 3A-level scenic spots, as well as rural tourist attractions.
For the past few years, Yizhang County has cultivated its tourism brands rooted in its red culture, folk customs, food culture and profound history. New business modes like forest tour, hot spring tour, leisure resort tour, sports events have been developed.
Efforts have also been made to accelerate culture and tourism integration in Mangshan Mountain and the construction of Mangshan Mountain National 5A-level Scenic Area.
In the first half of this year, Yizhang has received over 4.5 million tourist trips, with a comprehensive tourism income of 5.091 billion yuan.
The experts gave speeches about the mountain-type scenic areas and cultural tourism of Xuefeng Mountain, shared their views on tourism consumption upgrading and diversified consumption modes.
They believed that Yizhang should adjust to the new trend of all-for-one tourism, build a new pan-tourism industrial chain, integrate human landscape and ecological resources to upgrade Yizhang’s cultural tourism.
