A promotional activity for the movie “Close to Love” of Enlight Pictures was held in Chenzhou recently. Wu Jupei, party secretary of Chenzhou, was present at the activity and shared his feelings.

 

 

“Close to Love” is produced by Liu Tong, a young writer from Chenzhou, and is shot in Chenzhou. The film tells the story of a man and a woman from a small town in Hunan Province who grew up together and stepped into the society from campus side by side in a relationship more intimate than friendship, but less than love.

 

The 2-hour movie made the audience completely immersed in the plots and brought them a warm and healing experience from the youth story.

 

“The story is very touching, and that’s real love,” Wu Jupei said, “The love is like how we love Chenzhou. We contribute our love, sweat and passion to Chenzhou. As long as it’s good for Chenzhou, we are willing to do anything. This movie also resonates with us. Love needs to be expressed, to be given, to be mutually accomplished, so we should cherish those around us in our lives.”
