Live-streaming e-commerce helps agricultural products go out

Recently, 30 anchors of Chenchuang E-commerce Company were organized to participate in the nai-plum cultural festival held in Shazhou Yao Village, Rucheng County, Chenzhou City, to help farmers build online and offline sales channels.

This year’s nai-plum festival was lively and colorful. After arriving at the village, the anchors rushed to the nai-plum orchard to experience picking and shoot short videos, and have in-depth exchanges with major growers to know more about the planting history and characteristics of nai-plum, making preparations for the coming live broadcast activities. 
 
On the opening day of the festival, more than 10 teams carried out online and offline livestreaming sales, with their booths standing in a line at the site, attracting tens of thousands of online netizens and visitors to buy. 
 
According to the statistics, on that day, 30 anchors attracted 220,000 viewers. A total of 5,640 kg of nai-plums were sold on the site, with the transaction amount reaching 78,963 yuan. 
 
In recent years, the city has actively created characteristic and excellent agricultural and sideline product brands, and taken accelerating the sales of agricultural products as an important measure to consolidate and expand the achievements made in poverty alleviation in coordination with the extensive drive for rural vitalization.
