According to the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, in the first half of 2022, the province’s mobile Internet companies generated an operating income of 112.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.6%. This has sustained the good momentum of rapid growth in recent years.
This year, Hunan has issued several official opinions on continuing to promote the high-quality development of the mobile internet industry and accelerating the expansion of the digital industry.
Under the guidance of the policies, key mobile Internet enterprises have registered steady development.
In the first half of the year, Xingsheng Youxuan, a leading community grocery shopping e-commerce enterprise, achieved an operating income of about 300 million yuan, up about 40% year on year.
The number of Hebao Pay users of the China Mobile Group Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd. ranked among the top five in mobile payment sector. The operating income in the first six months of this year was 1.96 billion yuan.
Efforts have been made to accelerate breakthroughs in key and core technologies in key areas. The first batch of 20 first-version software products and 35 key technology product research projects in the software industry were released, centering on ten key application scenarios for the digital Hunan construction such as manufacturing, transportation, medical care and education.
More efforts have been made to expand and extend the scope for applying mobile Internet. For example, HNAC Technology Invested 400 million yuan in building Hunan’s largest energy storage station to develop a controllable and schedulable grid operation mode.
In the first half of the year, Hunan’s 10 software and mobile Internet industrial parks achieved a combined output value of more than 41.39 billion yuan, an increase of 15.8%. More than 11,100 enterprises in the industrial parks have formed a collaborative innovation industrial ecosystem.
The upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain have deepened cooperation and exchanges, and the development of new business forms and new models has been accelerated.
For example, Changsha Broad Homes Industrial Group and Tencent Cloud expanded cooperation in smart buildings, and Anker Innovations and Ximalaya jointly developed smart glasses and the world’s first dual-camera battery doorbell.
